This park is closest to my house so I visit it with my ten year old often.  There is a lot of play equipment.  Plenty of swings, a merry-go-round, newer play structures, a tennis court, and a huge amount of green space with plenty of trees.  The park is usually very busy, especially on a warm weekend day.
Pros: Huge area for running and an off-leash area for dogs.

This park flies under the radar. It has a great new play structure (approx. 2 years old) and plenty of swings. Kids love it. Not many trees near the play area, which means it stays warmer in the winter, but better apply lots of sunscreen during the summer months. They have a wonderful Easter egg hunt sponsered by the CNA (Concordia Neighborhood Association). The CNA also hosts an awesome concert series in July. Don't miss it!
Pros: Spacious
Cons: Could use more benches

Fernhill is a killer park all the way around!  Tons of Swings (infant/toddler and older kids), great jungle gym equipment, tennis courts, a track and lots of open space!  I love the location as well.  Last time I was there I counted 10 other dads taking in their kids and coffee on a crisp January morning!
