Hey Portlanders, how is the new hands free law treating you?  I have to admit, I am trying hard to change old habits, but it isn't easy.  I hear it is a $142+ dollar ticket!  I invested in a motorola ear piece and everyone I have talked to on the phone so far has had a hard time hearing me..  Any advice on ear pieces?  How are you adapting to the new law?

So far so good for me. I haven't minded it too much. I don't mind using the Bluetooth to talk, its the no texting that gets me! I know its horrible, and I've stopped, but its still really hard not to pick up the phone when you get a text or email! My Bluetooth is a Motorola H721 and I like it, no one has complained about it at all. I got it at the AT&T store downtown on 3rd and Yamhill :)

not loving it!  I have cheated a couple times because habitually I am not accustom to putting a device on my ear....  this has to be easier! right?  do those Blue Tooth Systems that run through your car audio work?

struggling!  I can't keep track of the bluetooth earpiece, and I often end up tangling (literally!) with the iPhone headphone ones - which I am SURE is just as dangerous as anything else.  I think I saw something on the Today show about a gadget that you can get at Costco that lets you either run it through your speakers or turns it into a speakerphone... it was flying off the shelves and getting good reviews.  But then we'd need one for each car. SIGH.

I'm really struggling.  With two little kids I find I am always trying to utilize every minute and I love using my phone in the car.  I honestly haven't connected up Bluetooth or gotten an earpiece.  I need to, I know.  I  just try not to use my phone very often in the car, but it's hard.  I'll be pissed if I get stopped, but I know it will be my own fault.

struggling with it too!  I have had to put the phone down in mid sentence several times recently when I see the POPO!
