We got take out pizza for friends and family last night from Rovente and I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised. It's REALY GREAT pizza! Just the right amount of cheese and sauce on a fantastic crust with quality toppings! This spot has jumped up to top 5 pizza shops for me in portland.
Pros: Tasty pizza, good price

I've been going to E-San for years and have never been disappointed. The curry, both Red and Yellow have different levels of flavor that just build on one another...sweet and spicy and full of good perfectly cooked vegetable. The noodle dishes are all tasty and the fried rice is fabulous as well.  For desert, try the coconut sticky rice with mango. WOW!

The 50% off sushi all hours & all days got us in the door...we should've turned right back around before sitting down. The sushi is absolutely awful. The fish is fresh, I think but the tempura is not crunchy, they use too much rice and I'm not sure if I had tuna or fish flavored rubber. How can you goof up a spicy tuna roll? One positive note, the water was good and miso soup was above average.  I suggest you pay more and go to Sinju in the Pearl or at Bridegeport.
Pros: 1/2 off sushi
Cons: Everything - including the sushi

This is how pizza is suppose to taste like. Perfect crust (thin and crispy yet moist), just the right amount of toppings and the individual size is fantastic.  The only complain is the RUDE hostess. We've been there at least a dozen times and the same lady (if you can call her that) who takes the names is a straight up b----! She needs to learn manners and realize that if it weren't for the customers, she wouldn't have a job.  To end on a positive note - try the ceaser salad. Amazing!
Cons: The HOSTESS and long wait

This saloon has been open in Portland for over 35 years at the same location. A killer local spot to grab beers, food or appz, watch a game,  play pool or listen to live music. Definitely worth checking out!

Our little one really enjoyed her swim lessons at the RAC (Riverplace Athletic Club). It's really clean, family friendly and the instructor was great. Highly recommend it!
