I haven't ever eaten at the restaurant - but have seen their showroom, or whatever it is on Belmont - looks fun! They are the official Portland Art Museum Caterer. In my experience they've been so-so - but I think that largely depends on the museum's budget. As I've heard otherwise, they cater alot around town.

Bunk is the perfect example of what Portland seems to do best - making high what is low. Great tasting sandwiches. Of course you'll pay for it, and wait.
Pros: Awesome sandwiches
Cons: Lines, price

Has a great changing happy hour menu all throughout the night. $2 Hanger Steak Skewers - and the $2 Pork Belly skewers are awesome.
Pros: Happy Hour, fun, tasty all around

Often end up here because it is so close to the studio. Caters more to the professional - and the selection and prices are a bit slimer, pricier. But the full staff is always willing to help with a solution.

I come here often, tipped off by a $1.10 cup of French press! Makes great espresso. Beans apparently roasted by his brother. Always nice to have good coffee NOT roasted by Stumptown too.
Pros: Hidden gem, coffee, food
Cons: Out-of-the-way if it isn't in-your-way

Have you been to the remodeled "Produce Row" cafe in the SE industrial area? How do you feel about it? I think we all have a bar to match a mode or mood. I used to come here after painting: tired, worn out and messy. Suddenly I feel out classed! But the remodel is really nice.

Starting this Saturday is the Portland Japanese Garden's "Behind the Shoji". Two dozen regional potters, carvers, and artists working in the Japanese aesthetic. AND it's in the Garden!

Skyline is classic. Good simple shakes too. Try also Higgens in SW, for a total sirloin burger with pickled items. Awesome international beer selection too - and always served in the appropriate glass - something rarely seen here.

I listened to this album 3 times in a row today. Terrific! Great summer album. Check out also: Delta Spirit and Mumford & Sons.

I hate Yahoo. Everything about it. Going as far back as when they swallowed Geocities. This is great that PDX got that "honor" but Yahoo gives no reason why. Sunny. And rainy. Great.
