Either way the hedge House is killer! Take in a cozy rainy night with friends in one of their booths or a summer day on their deck! Their deck is pretty stellar! The beers are good... TRY THE C-NOTE! The Lompoc folks know how to brew hoppy beer and I like hoppy beer!

Best Sushi I have had in Portland. Ambiance is pretty slick, wait blows on weekends, but it is worth the wait when you bury a couple pounds of their raw fish in your belly! I haven't had a roll I didn't like here. The Sake list is solid, the service is great... I have nothing to say, but please don't go here on the weekend... I am addicted and don't need to encourage you and your friends to make me wait longer on a Saturday night.. go on a weekday! ;-)))))))))))))))))

When you really want some color, head to The Ship in M.Village. The place lives up to the name. Simple, hard around the edges, nothing fancy... I went here before the smoking ban and now since and it is fair to say the ambiance has improved a bit. some smokers might disagree. I recommend going to The Ship with a group and when you are in a good mood with friends who intend to tie one on.. it isn't the warm, cozy pub where you might see numerous folks bellying up to the bar to discuss Obama's Health Care Plan, but it does what a bar's primary objective is to do... serve drinks.. and for that reason, the Ship works for the limited night scene Multnomah Village has to offer.

I am glad the Cha Cha Cha folks expanded to B.Wilshire... the size of the burritos here is a bit smaller than the NE Broadway location, but the food is good just the same. I love the outdoor seating and suggest it over the inside.. as the inside just feels a bit dark to me. regardless, the chips are great at this location and better then the NE Broadway or Pearl locations. If you like the other locations, try this one.. if you are in B.Wilshire and want a good quick burrito, give these guys a try!

I really am. ... but each time we go there, there is a little rub with something... this last weekend the rub was that we picked them up (13 bagels) at around 11am... when I went to jam my teeth into the first everything bagel it wasn't smooth, doughy and soft, but hard, subtlly hard... and for me.. it just seems fair to think that when you pick up your bagels, if you are eating them within 20 min. of picking them up they should be fresh. The other rub this past weekend was the cream cheese.. $4.35 for cream cheese... within 1 day it was hard and almost impossible to spread on the bagels... At 4+ bucks that just seems wrong. Portland is an underserved market for Bagels and I actually think bageland survives off the lack of competition... that is untill Kettlemans comes to NE.

Tough one.. I need more details, although I will say that from the tapes it sounded unecessary.. a guy backing up, who was acting compliant on the phone... can't you shoot him in the legs?

Not yet, but we are planning on it! What reviews you can find online (Oregonian) are pretty good.
