Cooper Mountain Roofing is argueably the best roofing company in Portland.  If you want to know you are getting a great roof, the Woods brothers are who you want to work with.  They have put on numerous roofs for my clients and not one client had issues.  They are professional, on time, careful and candid about every stage of a roof replacement.  In recent years they have however gotten very busy and I have a hard time getting them to quote work anymore.  I guess that is a result of their success.
Pros: Professional, Kind, Respectful, Knowledgable
Cons: A bit too busy... hard to pin down sometimes.

Speedy Septic   Aug 28
Category: Sewer Repair
Neighborhood:
28128 SE Highway 212
Boring, 97009
Not having much experience in this area, I was put in touch with Speedy Septic.  They were great to work with from start to finish.  Their prices were reasonable from the other quotes we received and they ultimately showed up when they said they would, worked within our time frame and got the job done.  We were very pleased.

The food is fantastic here!  It is healthy, prepared with consideration for people's health and all around tasty! Try the bowls!  The plantaines are delicious in the Cuban Bowl!!!  as are the sweet potatoes.  This isn't fast food, although it comes fast.  I love this location!  The fact they have outdoor seating is fantastic!  I recommend eating burritos from Laughing Planet if you are near any of their locations, especially this one in the Pearl.

Neighborhood: Sunnyside

The Fresh Pot on Hawthorne Boulevard is a great option for folks looking for a local coffee shop which serves Stumptown Coffee in the Richmond/Sunnyside area.  This location is great!  I think the location and fact it is a Fresh Pot speak for itself!!!!  That said, I do like the Mississippi Ave. Fresh Pot better from the standpoint of ambiance.

I am curious to hear how others with kids over 4 have liked the Grant Pool swimming lessons offered in the summer?   So far the lessons are great for our kids under 4, but I am curious how others feel about them for older kids?

How late is the water running at the Jamison Park fountain?  With some of these summer evenings getting as hot as they are I am curious to know if it runs till 7 or beyond?
