We went the other night for our anniversary. It was packed with people bouncing off the walls. Watching the kitchen was amazing. The meat selections we had were unreal! The tastes, spices, textures, etc. were making my mouth sing. We hadn't been in some time and upon going back the place has just escalated itself to another level (it was good before). I really haven't had food in sometime that has been so carefully prepped and thought out. The ambiance is great! The bar is great! The location is great! I would say without hesitation that this is one of Portland's top five restaurants. I can't imagine not including it in that list.

I have heard many great things about Andina and have been wanting to try it for my self for quite some time. I finally had the chance to experience it last night. The restaurant was nothing short of amazing. The venue offered a bright and vibrant atmosphere, with beautiful Peruvian paintings and artifacts scattered throughout. The food prepared was fresh and perfectly cooked. The server was polite and attentive.
The flavors in the dishes we were able to try were tasty and unique. The bread basket that they first brought out offered three types of regionally-inspired salsas, which ranged from hot to mild. We definitely left completely full and satisfied. I highly encourage anyone who hasn't experienced Andina yet to do so. You will not be disappointed.
Pros: Unique food & drinks, atmosphere

Andina lives up to the hype. I want here with an open mind and I have to say that I was impressed on multiple levels. The food is fantastic, the service was really good and the location is pretty prime.
I thought every meal seemed to be made with a care you don't expect to see in many meals... I loved my appetizers, loved the main course, but the volcano fudge dessert I had was off the charts! It is chocolate brownie/cake mixed with a small hint of jalepenos. Sounds crazy, but it is wonderful. Overall, Andina is great for a group or a couple. We loved the atmoshphere! Sorry, I save my 5 stars for the best of any category I review.
Pros: Diverse Menu, Service, Location
