Wow, Albina has great coffee!  This place has some of the best coffee I have had in Portland.  The location is awesome!  Just around the curves from Mississippi Ave and just south of Alberta Street!  Try Albina if you are looking for a good cup of strong joe and want a place not everyone has been to.

My husband and I go here every so often.. each time we view it as a treat.  The coffee is fantastic!!  I would rank it among my top 3 favorite joints/coffees in Portland.  I also love the ambiance.  If we lived in walking distance there is no question we would consider it our regular spot to take in a paper, cup of joe and/or the good clean air from one of their picnic tables.  I love that this Albina is off the beaten path a bit.

Well maybe, a back rub with my coffee?  Anyway, love Albina Press!!! Love this location and love the coffee!! It is made with careful consideration and that makes my tastebuds smile.  Love the chocolate they use in their mochas!!
Pros: MOCHAS!, LOCATION!, LOCATION!

I have ventured around the Boise-Eliot area quite a bit over the years.  Truth be told, I love what is happening on Williams and overall what has happening to the area by way of retail development.  I tell you this because, after the dozens of shops that have opened, after maybe 3 or 4 new coffee shops opened their doors... Albina Press still reigns supreme in my world.  If it wasn't off the beaten path a bit, it would probably be overwhelmed with hipsters, tourists, etc.  The coffee is that good.  While I know they use Stumptown among maybe another roaster or two... they have something else going on here.  I personally use my mocha to measure some coffee shops and Albina's is the best I have ever had, period.  The chocolate, the way their baristas mix the chocolate into the shots, it is all with goodness!!  I love the location too... and that may influence me a bit, but focusing on their coffee I have to say I haven't had better... and I have had some good cups of Joe at the likes of Ristrettos, Barista, Stumptown, etc.  Anyways, you get the point.  GOOD ****ING JOE!
Pros: Good Joe, Great Location, Killer little Shop

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!  I love where Albina Press is located (the first one that is!).  There coffee is amazing!  Strong, carefully pressed and worth the trip if you aren't acustom to hitting NOPO for your joe!
Pros: Location (sorry I already said that!)
