Owner of shop is extremely rude and arrogant, would not recommend spending your money here unless you enjoy being railroaded. Seriously bad customer experiance.

added a new event Roots of Regeneration: City Repair’s 12th Annual Village Building Convergence
2 weeks ago
When: 05/25/2012 8:00 AM
Where: City Repair
Event Description:
The Village Building Convergence (VBC), City Repair’s largest annual project, is now in its twelfth season. The VBC demonstrates the power of grassroots “sustainability” as communities come together to work, play, dream and design. This year’s Village Building Convergence will take place May 25 through June 3; a 10-day tour de force that creates artistically redesigned public gathering places and intersections, spectacular earthen building structures, and delectable urban gardening projects. Each project invites community participation and inspires imagination. Whether it is getting hands and feet muddy in building a cob kiosk or sitting side-by-side engaging with thoughtful nightly presentations, the Convergence is a successful statement of common visions for a lively urban community. Evening activities include presentations by sustainability professionals and leaders—featuring Ianto Evans (seminal natural building leader), Starhawk (author and activist), and Mark Lakeman (founder of City Repair and Communitecture). Participants can take part in hands-on education in permaculture design and construction, ecological building, and public art.
Detailed site locations and daytime event information will be released approximately one week prior to the event in The Builder-- available online and at various, select locations.
Jack has built and maintained two bikes (and rebuilt one of them after an accident) over the last ten years for my wife and me. He does first rate work and is a very pleasant fellow. Go see Jack if you want a very nice bike perfectly tuned for your body and riding style. En Selle is a small high-end bike shop (more a boutique) with excellent personalized service. Jack is also very active supporting many community rides around the area. You'll see his giant blue maintenance van at many events. Stop by and say hi!

Given the proximity to where most close-in Portlanders live this is the best spot to take the kids when it is ugly out. The location is ideal, parking isn't too bad and overall they have their act together. Most importantly the kids love it! We go often and will likely be back next week.

I have been a long time customer of Perry's and live in the neighborhood. Love the family atmosphere until I experienced something that has influenced my desire to return. I ordered the burger but for health reasons wanted to replace the processed bun with a piece of lettuce. When I was told I would be charged an extra dollar for the replacement lettuce, I was appauled. Then I looked further at the menu and saw high priced miscellaneous charges for things that are unnecessary such as a $3 per person plate charge for bringing in your own birthday cake for special parties. I understand the desire to sell your own baked goods but $3 a plate is outrageous. $1 for a piece of lettuce in place of the processed bun??? I realize the economy is bad but the loyalty to a neighborhood market can be priceless. Stop the madness and I would enjoy your above average costs for wonderful food if it didn't seem so petty. $18 corking fee for a neighborhood family restaurant? Wow!

The Farm never disappoints. Our dinner last night was perfect. The fritters started us off strong, while the Duck, Trout, Gnocchi and Ravioli laid the platform for the Chocolate souffle with chocolate ice cream. Good service, not a bad wait.. and overall a killer meal followed by a finger of Buffalo Trace.

Beware! Where do I begin?!?! (1) My credit card was charged with bogus charges by DWR. I had to contact them more than once to have these charges credited. (2) Stacy Day provided the worst customer service my husband and I have ever experienced. Her long drawn out excuses for problems were always another person's fault and not her own fault. Caught her lying on one of my orders. She was trying to cover up her errors. (3) Stacy, as well as the rest of DWR, think they can use child psychology on their customers. This is very insulting. They like to tell you what you are feeling and will repeatedly say, "I am here for you. I am your advocate." (4) Their mark up is ridiculous. We had to cancel an order before Stacy could screw up another one. We purchased it from another company for 21% less and without the headaches. Additionally, the DWR price was a "sale" price. (5) After too many errors by Stacy, we were forced to contact her manager, Chris McCullough, who at the time seemed to be the only one in the company who knew anything about customer service. We have found out otherwise. Our final purchase with DWR, which we have been waiting on since July, arrived damaged last week. It was packaged that way. We have tried to contact Chris several times since we received the damaged product. He will not return any of our calls or emails.

This place is great. People say it's expensive and it is, but it's worth it. $60 for a 5 course meal of this caliber really isn't all that much. The service was great as well; not overbearing, perfectly attentive. When we needed something, our waiter was there. I'd definitely recommend this to everyone. It's a different caliber of restaurant experience than most places in Portland.

Put simply, Andina is argueably the best restaurant in Portland. While the food is of a specific genre, its ambiance, long term tenure in the Pearl and food quality is un paralleled. I can't recommend Andina enough. My one recommendation to them is bring back the volcano brownie with jalapeno.. and my one recommendation to other users is call in advance! Can't wait to go back!
